Weekly Newsletter — July 2, 2026
HERE’S YOUR WEEKLY OVERVIEW OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AT COMMUNITY CHURCH + IN THE COMMUNITY!
highlight of the week: neighborhood gathering - no in-person service this sunday!
This 4th of July weekend, we are doing something different. Instead of gathering under one roof, we’re asking our GBCC church family to be the church in their neighborhoods — hosting or attending a Neighborhood Gathering right where you live.
We have provided a teaching video to anchor your time together, but the real win is the conversations, connections, and relationships that happen with the people next door. We have also created conversation questions for after the message.
If you gather, snap a picture and share with us! You can tag us on Facebook or Instagram or send a picture to social@gbcc.me - we’d love to see how you gather!

DISCOVER YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFT
At Community Church, we believe every person has been uniquely gifted by God for a purpose. When you understand your spiritual gift, it brings clarity, confidence, and direction—and it helps you step into the role God designed you to play in building His Kingdom.
A way we do that is a through course called Navigate, created to help you discover and understand your spiritual gifts through a biblical framework. You’ll learn what spiritual gifts are (and aren’t), receive real-time feedback on how you’re wired, and walk away knowing how to use your gift to serve meaningfully in the church and beyond.
This is a condensed, one-day version to help fit busy schedules! Join us Wednesday, July 15 from 8am-3pm at GBCC, and register now!
Summer Passports!
Park play dates, diving in to the Bible, and joining us at church all earns kids stamps to go towards prizes to be won! Each and every child 2 years old - 5th graders can grab a Summer Passport if you haven’t already and start collecting stamps for a chance to win one of three great prizes displayed at our check in area! We can’t wait to share the summer with you all at GBCC!

WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT
Giving regularly is a way to express our love and trust in God's provision. It's not about the amount given, but the intention and heart behind it. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, "Let each one give thoughtfully and with purpose just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift." As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you informed about our financial journey.
For the week of June 25: Total giving was $29,911 - about $8,551 below our target. Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church! Your prayers and contributions truly make a difference in advancing our mission and serving our community!
